Indian beheaded in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, AUG. 19. An Indian found guilty of murdering a Saudi national was beheaded by the sword today, taking to at least 70 the number of people executed in Saudi Arabia this year, the Interior Ministry said. Kanujia Din Dayal was convicted for beating Hassan bin Meshal al-Baqmi to death with a rock and was executed in the province of Taif.

Saudi Arabia applies a strict form of the Islamic Sharia Law, imposing the death penalty for murder, rape, apostasy, armed robbery, drug trafficking and repeated drug use.
