'No plan to withdraw Army from Jammu'

NEW DELHI, AUG. 20. The Defence Ministry today denied reports
regarding the move to shift the Army out of Jammu by the end of
October. The reports appearing in a section of the press are
``factually incorrect'' the Ministry said, adding that ``there
are no plans for reducing the strength of troops presently
deployed in the Jammu region.''
