Pak. general dies in accident

ISLAMABAD, AUG. 24. Lt. Gen. Ghulam Ahmed Khan, Chief of Staff to the President and Chief Executive, Gen. Pervez Musharraf, died in a traffic accident near Talagang in the Punjab province this afternoon.

An official announcement said here tonight that he was returning to Islamabad after completion of leave. Lt. Gen. Khan had accompanied Gen. Musharraf on his recent trip to India.
