Tendulkar for S. Africa
MUMBAI, AUG. 26. Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar left here for
South Africa today for treatment of his injured right toe.
The Mumbai star will be consulting orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Mark
Fergusson, to treat a hairline fracture on his right toe and is
expected to be fit for India's tour of South Africa beginning
October 1. Tendulkar, who sustained injury during the final
league match of the triangular series against the West Indies on
July 4 in Zimbabwe, also skipped the ongoing Sri Lankan tour.
