Pre-paid taxi service

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, AUG. 27. The computerised pre-paid taxi
service counter, set up by he Department of Tourism, in the
international and national terminal buildings of the airport will
start functioning from Tuesday.
Trained computer operators had been posted in the counter and
the fares to various locations had been exhibited. Those hiring
the taxies can remit the amount in advance at the counter. The
Tourism Minister, Prof. K.V. Thomas will inaugurate the counter
at a function to be organised at 4 p.m.
