Ranbaxy's AIDS webline for doctors
By Our Staff Correspondent
MUMBAI, AUG. 29. Ranbaxy Laboratories, in association with
DoctorAnywhere.com, a leading tele-medicine company, has taken a
major initiative to fulfil the increasing need of interaction of
family physicians with AIDS specialists and regular updates on
therapy management trends by launching the Ranbaxy Aids Webline
for doctors.
Mr. Sanjiv D. Kaul, regional director, Ranbaxy Labs, said, ``The
Ranbaxy AIDS webline is an innovative initiative that would
address the widely felt need to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Doctors would benefit tremendously through mutual sharing of
clinical cases, treatment guidelines and various other
developments."
The Ranbaxy AIDS webline, managed and maintained by
DoctorAnywhere.com, will leverage the power of information
technology to create a unique platform for community building and
knowledge sharing by bringing together the top AIDS specialists,
family physicians and leading NGOs. This will go a long way in
improving treatment of the AIDS affected and also help doctors
create and maintain online case records for their patients and
facilitate tele-consultation with leading AIDS specialists.
