LPG prices may go up

NEW DELHI, AUG. 30. The Petroleum Minister, Mr. Ram Naik, today
warned that prices of kerosene and LPG may have to be revised to
reduce the subsidy within the current fiscal. Under the schedule
for dismantling the administered pricing mechanism (APM) for oil
products, prices will have to be adjusted so that the subsidy
reaches 33.3 per cent for kerosene and 15 of import parity for
LPG.
