Dawaram meets Kharge

BANGALORE, AUG. 30. Mr. Walter Dawaram, chief of the joint STF of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka to nab the forest brigand, Veerappan, called on the Karnataka Home Minister, Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge, today.

Mr. Kharge told The Hindu that it was only a courtesy call. The Karnataka DGP, Mr. V.V. Bhaskar, was present.
