SAARC trade fair in Karachi from Sept. 1

ISLAMABAD, AUG. 30. The first SAARC Trade Fair in Pakistan is being held from September 1 to 6 at Karachi and a number of Indian firms are expected to participate in the fair.

The Secretary General, SAARC, the President, SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other high officials of SAARC countries will attend the ceremony.

According to the Pakistan Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) officials here, all seven nations of the SAARC will exhibit a wide range of products.

All the SAARC members have already confirmed their participation in the fair. This is the third SAARC exhibition, one of them was held in India. An official of the EPB said individual firms and trade associations have confirmed participation.
