Tatas still in the fray
By Gargi Parsai
NEW DELHI, SEPT. 2. Despite withdrawal of Singapore Airlines
(SIA) from its strategic partnership with the Tatas in their bid
for Air India, the Tata group is still very much in the fray,
even if as a lone bidder. Sources said that although the Tatas
said they were studying the situation with an open mind, the
business house is looking for other strategic partners which
could be the Air France-Delta combine, the British Airways or the
Qantas.
