Curfew imposed in Satana

NASIK, SEPT. 2. Curfew has been imposed in Satana town near here, following Saturday's incident of stone pelting by miscreants at a place of worship, even as additional troops were deployed to avoid any untoward incident, police said today.

Trouble started when miscreants, part of a Ganesh idols immersion procession, threw stones at a place of worship, in which nine policemen, including one officer, were injured.
