Azad's supporters ransack station

DARBHANGA (Bihar), SEPT. 2. Alleged supporters of the BJP Lok Sabha member from Darbhanga, Mr. Kirti Azad, ransacked the railway station here today. They were reportedly angry over the denial of a Cabinet berth to Mr. Azad in yesterday's Ministerial expansion. The demonstrators sat on a dharna on the tracks, the Darbhanga Superintendent of Police, Mr. Sudhanshu Kumar, said.

But by the time police reached the scene, they had vanished

after partially damaging the window screens in the station. A few train services, including that of the Jana Seva Express, were disrupted for two hours. The Railway Police has lodged an FIR in this connection.
