L&T Infotech pact with IISc.

MUMBAI, SEPT. 3. Larsen & Toubro Infotech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro (L&T), is initiating a collaborative programme with the Society for Innovation and Development (SI) of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

This collaboration with IISc will be initially for three years and the objective is to carry out joint research and developmental projects in telecommunication and embedded system technology in order to build competence and achieve excellence in selected technological areas, for providing better services to customers.

The communication and embedded system SBU (strategic business unit) of L&T Infotech specialises and provides services in mobile communication, data communication, embedded digital signal processing, real time operating systems and short range wireless communication like Bluetooth.
