UGS 10000 reopens for sale, repurchase
MUMBAI, SEPT. 3. The Unit Trust of India today reopened the sale
and repurchase for its UGS 10000 scheme for the next eight days.
The net asset value of the UGS 10000 scheme, whose corpus is
predominantly invested in scrips of multinational companies, was
Rs. 9.55 as on August 29, the UTI said in a release here.
The price for sale and repurchase, to be open till September 10,
would be based on the NAV of the day on which the application was
made, it added.
About 52 per cent of scheme's corpus was invested in the scrips
of consumer goods while the exposure to engineering and Pharma
companies stood at 12.51 per cent and 8.60 per cent respectively,
it said.
The scheme was likely to benefit from the increasing number of
buyback offers and would explore opportunities for investment in
the multinational pharma companies, it added.
