Waiting for my change: PM
NEW DELHI, SEPT. 4. The Prime Minister, Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee,
has for the second consecutive day spoke of short tenures of
Prime Ministers in India.
Addressing the national award winning teachers at his residence,
he said ``becoming a Prime Minister is not a big thing. Every two
years the Prime Minister in this country is changed and I am
waiting for the change. That is the reason I am welcoming you at
my temporary residence.'' Mr. Vajpayee had spoken in a similar
vein on Monday describing the Prime Minister's residence as a
``rented house, whose occupants often change.''
