Thermax ESOP for senior executives
MUMBAI: Thermax plans to issue 5 per cent of its equity capital
as employee stock option scheme (ESOP) to its senior executives.
The company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it had
obtained shareholders approval for the ESOP. Details of the plan,
including the issue price, would be worked out by a committee
appointed by the board, it added.

D-Link's investment plans
HYDERABAD: The Mumbai based D-Link (India) plans to invest about
Rs. 55 crores in expansion activity this year, including Rs. 29
crores for a project for developing software related to
networking products. Two more surface mount technology (SMT)
lines are to be added in its Goa plant. The company manufactures
10,000 hubs, 20,000 modems, 50,000 NICs, and Rs. 1.50 crore worth
structured cabling a month.
Telemail for corporates
MUMBAI: Speech & Software Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (SST), a Tata
group company, has introduced `Telemail', targeting corporates.
``Telemail increases the flexibility of communicating through the
web by enabling human voice to act as an e-mail browser and
allows the individual to receive and reply to e-mail messages
from any telephone instrument (fixed or mobile)", SST president,
Mr. Prakash Shukla, said. The product, which was priced at Rs.
2.50 lakhs with a 50 user licence, recognises, acts and responds
to voice commands, he said.

Dr. Reddy's arm forms advisory board
HYDERABAD: Reddy U.S. Therapeutics Inc, a biopharmaceutical
subsidiary of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories based in Atlanta, has
formed a scientific advisory board to advise on its drug
discovery research and development programmes. According to a
company release, the members of the board are Dr. Ira J. Goldberg
of Columbia University, Dr. Sampath Parthasarathy of Emory
University and Dr. Noboyu Maeda of University of North Carolina.
Crossdomain's Bangalore facility
BANGALORE: Crossdomain Solutions Pvt. Ltd., leading business
process outsourcing (BPO) company in India, inaugurated its
state-of-the-art facility here. The new office was inaugurated by
Mr. Nandan Nilekani, managing director, Infosys Technologies. Mr.
L. S. Ram, executive director, Crossdomain Solutions, said, there
was phenomenal excitement in the BPO segment and their domain
expertise and management was well poised to take them into the
global competitive arena.

Indo-Fuji in pact with 2 firms
CHENNAI: The Bangalore-based Indo-Fuji Information Technologies,
preferred partner of Fujistu, Japan has entered into alliances
with Tata Infotech as its implementation partner and India Satcom
as its marketing partner for System Walker, an enterprise system
management software of Fujistu. Indo-Fuji has signed a memorandum
of understanding (MoU) with Tata Infotech for implementation,
service and support and India Satcom in this regard, says a
release.
Way2wealth starts Kochi operations
KOCHI: Way2wealth Securities Private Ltd, the Bangalore-based
retail investments advisory, launched its operations in Kochi.
The company aims to be a one-stop financial shop to offer
personalised, need-based investment advice to retail investors
with emphasis on long-term wealth creation, according to a
release. The company's product offerings include mutual funds,
fixed deposits, IPOs and bonds in the primary market in addition
to equity and derivatives trading in the secondary market.
