Army job aspirants go berserk
ARA, (Bihar), SEPT. 6. Around 200 persons and 20 policemen were
injured when a mob of Army job aspirants went berserk throwing
stones and brickbats while trying to force their way into the
Ramna Maidan stadium here today.
The Bhojpur District Magistrate, Mr. Sudhir Kumar, said that
around 25,000 youngsters, who assembled before the main gate of
the stadium since early this morning to participate in the
physical test, turned violent after having made to wait for hours
together. They pelted stones and brickbats and ransacked a nearby
survey office and damaged fire engines.
