A precious saving: Correction
M.N.Mitra is an employee of the State Bank of Hyderabad, Foreign
Department, Chennai, and not as reported in the article "A
precious saving" (Metro Plus September 3, which was carried under
Features section of Online Edition). As an office bearer of the
Temple View Apartment Owners Association, Mitra had spearheaded a
suggestion ("Why not locate a percolation pit on one end of the
road instead of storm water drains") that came up during
discussions with Indukanth Ragade of Alacrity Foundations.
