Ex-NAL employee commits suicide

BANGALORE, SEPT. 11. A retired employee of the National Aeronautics Limited (NAL) reportedly committed suicide on Tuesday morning by jumping from the eighth floor of a hospital on Airport Road.

According to police, Radhakrishna (67) was admitted to Manipal Hospital on September 7, and he was to be discharged on Tuesday. At around 10.30 a.m., he jumped from the eighth floor of the hospital. The reason for the suicide is not known.

Radhakrishna's son is in the U.S. The HAL police have registered a case.

Man consumes poison: An employee of the Indo-American Seeds Corporation reportedly committed suicide on Monday night by consuming poison at his house at Channasandra.

According to police, Kulkarni, a native of Ranebennur, was taken to Victoria Hospital in a Hoysala patrol vehicle. He was declared dead at the hospital.

The Kengeri police have registered a case.
