By Our Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD, SEPT. 11. The Hindu, Hyderabad, is conducting a two-
day workshop on art and painting for children in the age group of
8 to 15 years from September 16.
The workshop, to be conducted by Mrs. Padma Reddy of Kendriya
Vidyalaya, Hyderabad, is exclusive to schools which have enrolled
with The Hindu under the NIE programme. The programme is aimed at
making the children realise their innate talents in the field of
art and express them in the form of paintings.
The workshop would be held at the British Library, Sarovar
Centre, opposite Secretariat, on September 16 and 17 from 10 a.m.
to 5 p.m.
There is no entry fee. Colours, drawing sheets and other material
will be provided by The Hindu. The Regional Manager, The Hindu,
Hyderabad, Mr. P. Ranga Reddy, appealed to principals of various
schools in the City to send two of their best students to the
workshop. Further details can be had on 3403902.
