C. V. Kunhiraman foundation to be formed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, SEPT. 11. The C. V. Kunhiraman Foundation would re-publish the renowned writer's book, "Panchavadi" on September 26 to mark the inauguration of the foundation.

The Foundation chairman, Prof. O. N. V. Kurup, and the secretary, Mr. Hashim Rajan, told presspersons here today that the Chief Minister, Mr. A. K. Antony, would release the book and the Agriculture Minister, Ms. K. R. Gouriamma, would inaugurate the foundation aimed at immortalising the memory of the late social reformer and writer.

They said that the main objective of the foundation is to give due importance to the great writer, social reformer and founder of "Malayala Rajyam" and "Kerala Kaumudi." The foundation would conduct literary conferences every year in which literary critics from Kerala and all over the country would take part.

The foundation would institute an award for journalistic excellence, host a website, produce a documentary film and publish a biography, they said.
