Oracle India ties up with SRM Radiant Infotech

CHENNAI, SEPT. 11. Oracle Software India, a subsidiary of Oracle
Corporation, has entered into a strategic education alliance with
SRM Radiant Infotech, a part of the $150 million SRM group, to
conduct authorised training programmes in Oracle's core
technology area for individual students and corporate clients.
According to a release, the programme would cover about 100
training centres in the first phase of implementation of Oracle
education. SRM Radiant would conduct authorised courses in
various Oracle products such as Oracle Application server,
developer, Oracle developer as well as Oracle database. Both
companies will jointly issue participation certificate to
students who get trained in SRM Radiant. Oracle would also
provide technical skills to SRM Radiant trainers using various
methodologies.
With this, SRM Radiant becomes the second largest education
partner for Oracle in India. According to Mr. Shekhar Dasgupta,
Country Manager, Oracle India, ``SRM Radiant with its
geographical coverage would reach out to individuals who wish to
learn high-end Oracle skills.
Mr. T. R. P. Sathyanarayanan, Managing Director, SRM Radiant,
said, the SRM and Radiant merger would immensely benefit from
this tie-up. This would help the company provide high-end quality
training to individual students on core Oracle technologies which
are in demand by the corporate sector.
