Terrorism a global threat: Advani
By Our Staff Reporter
NEW DELHI, SEPT. 12. Describing the terrorist attacks in the U.S.
on Tuesday as an assault on humanity, the Union Home Minister,
Mr. L.K. Advani, today said that the attacks were not just on
America but on democracy too.
Delivering his inaugural address at the seventh Delhi Book Fair,
the Home Minister said the danger posed by terrorism was global
and could be resolved only through the coming together of all
democratic nations.
``It was probably only during World War II that so many innocent
people were killed. The incident has vindicated India's stand
that terrorism is emerging as a global threat,'' he said.
