International Coir Fair at Kochi

COIMBATORE, SEPT. 12 The India International Coir Fair 2001
(IICF), first of its kind, would be held at Kochi on October 11,
12 and 13.
The fair, apart from hosting seminars, would give an insight into
the options open for expansion and diversification.
Mr.M. Kumara Raja, Regional Officer of Coir Board, Pollachi, told
The Hindu said that the Regional Office would try to reap maximum
benefits from this fair for the coir industry in this region by
soliciting their participation.
There would be 100 stalls displaying over 150 coir products.
Manufacturers, processors, buyers, sellers, exporters and
importers of coir would take part.
