Pearl Harbour revisited

Sir, - The suicidal attack on the commercial, military and political nuclei of America by terrorists was stunning. It was a horrific spectacle; Pearl harbor revisited. The fact that so many terrorists were able to coordinate and infiltrate the U.S. security system and capture aircraft shows how evil forces are gaining the ascendancy. This could be a potential for World War III.

Sir, - How meticulously the hijackers planned their attack on the super structures in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania! The glorious image of Islam has been besmirched. Today hooligans, terrorists and militants reign supreme in the Islamic world. The Americans deserve all sympathy. We share their grief and concern. We also feel the U.S. Government must change its partisan policy of favouring Israel. It should control Israel and ensure justice to the Palestinians.
