Bush warns against targeting Muslims

WASHINGTON, SEPT. 13. The U.S. President, Mr. George W. Bush, today warned Americans against targeting Muslims and Arab Americans, as suspicions mount that overseas Islamic extremists may have plotted the terror attacks in the U.S.

``We must be mindful that as we seek to win the war we treat Arab Americans and Muslims with the respect they deserve,'' Mr. Bush said.
