'Committed to root out terrorism'

By Our Special Correspondent

CHANDIGARH, SEPT. 14. The Defence Minister, Mr. Jaswant Singh, today described terrorism as the biggest international challenge and assured the people that the Government would completely wipe it out.

Addressing an ex-servicemen's rally at Panchkula near here this evening, Mr. Singh said terrorism was a big threat to humanity and civilisation.

While asserting that India is committed to root out terrorism, he said there was enough proof about the involvement of neighbouring countries in terrorist activities during the last three years.
