Detained for praising Osama

NASIK, SEPT. 15. A student who pasted a picture of Saudi terrorist, Osama bin Laden, on the notice board of Sayaji Gaekwad College in Malegaon town was beaten up by fellow students and handed over to the police yesterday.

The student had written a few lines under the picture defending Osama's action and attacks on the U.S.

Meanwhile, in West Bengal's Birbhum district a class five student had to be hospitalised after being severely beaten up by his Urdu teacher for making remarks against Osama during a discussion on the terrorist attacks in U.S, police said today. The boy's father has lodged a complaint with the Suri police station.
