India ready to provide medical help to U.S.

PATNA, SEPT. 15. The Union Government has made preparations to provide medical relief to the U.S. to cope with the destruction caused by terrorist attacks.

The Union Health Minister, Dr. C.P. Thakur, has already kept ready 1000 litres of blood and a team of 100 doctors comprising specialist surgeons, neuro-surgeons and orthopaedics for being air-lifted to New York if the U.S. Government makes a request for medical help.
