SNDP supports agitation

By Our Staff Reporter

ALAPPUZHA, SEPT. 16. The SNDP Yogam has declared strong support to the ongoing agitation by tribals.

The SNDP Yogam president, Mr. C.K. Vidyasagar, at his presidential address at the annual conference of the central committee of SNDP Vanita Sanghom, said that various castes should rule the State alternately instead of various political fronts. The SNDP Yogam general secretary, Mr. Vellappally Natesan, who inaugurated the meeting, observed that it was high time the Ezhava community developed itself as a strong political force with a decisive say in Kerala politics. Mr. Natesan said this was the strong will of SNDP Yogam workers.

He reminded the community that if it wanted to progress it should advance in the education sector. He chided those historians who he felt were raking up old issues unnecessarily.
