Anand on STAR Sports tonight
NEW DELHI, SEPT. 16. Grandmaster Peter Leko has told Viswanathan
Anand that former World Champion Bobby Fischer loves to visit an
Indian restaurant in Budapest.
For a while now, Fischer making the moves on the internet is
known to many top players of the world. But surprise of
surprises, Anand is not keen to meet the genius.
All this and much more will come to the fore when Anand shares
his thoughts in Harshaonline on STAR Sports on Monday at 10.30
p.m. The episode will be repeated the following day.
During the one-hour show, Anand tells Harsha Bhogle, among other
interesting things, why and when he decided to make a career in
chess, how did he work on the chess basics without the help of
computers, how he prepares for a tournament or a match, why chess
players need to be physically fit, on playing a computer,
memories of playing at the World Trade Center in 1995 and the
future of Indian chess.
