IA flights to capital rescheduled

CHENNAI, SEPT. 17. Due to partial closure of the Thiruvananthapuram airfield, Indian Airlines has rescheduled its flights through Thiruvananthapuram from September 15 to October 15.

According to an IA press release, the flight (IC-931) on the Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram sector on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, will leave Chennai at 9-40 a.m. (instead of 10.a.m.) and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 10-50 a.m. However, on Mondays and Fridays, the service will operate to the existing timings (leave Chennai at 10 a.m.). In the return direction, the flight (IC-932) will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 3-30 p.m. and arrive in Chennai daily at 4-40 p.m.

The service (IC-907/908) on the Thiruvananthapuram-Colombo- Thiruvananthapuram sector, operating on Mondays and Fridays, will leave Thiruvananthapuram at noon and reach Colombo at 1-25 p.m. (local time). In the return direction, the service (IC-908) will leave Colombo at 2-30 p.m. (local time) and arrive in Thiruvananthapuram at 2-50 p.m.

Also, flight (IC-963/964) on the Thiruvananthapuram-Male- Thiruvananthapuram sector, operating on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 11-35 a.m. and reach Male at 12-15 p.m. (local time). In the return direction, the service (IC-964) will leave Male at 1-05 p.m. (local time) and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 2-45 p.m.
