Nasdaq listed Indian scrips dip
MUMBAI, SEPT. 17. Shares of Indian companies listed on the New
York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Nasdaq dipped in keeping with the
bearish trend on these international bourses, which opened today
after remaining closed for four trading days due to the September
11 terrorist attacks in the U.S.
Satyam Infoway was down by 0.20 (16.67 per cent) with a low of
one U.S. dollar and Infosys Technologies was down by $4.5 (9.38
per cent) with a low $42 on Nasdaq, according to latest
quotations available on the electronic bourses.
Meanwhile, on the New York Stock Exchange, ICICI was down by
$0.65 (9.35 per cent) with a low of $6.30 while Dr Reddy's Lab.
was trading at $21.30, down $2.23 (9.48 per cent).
Satyam Computers was down by $1.55 (18.24 per cent) at $6.80 and
ICICI Bank quoted at a low $3.15 and was down by $1.15 (26.74 per
cent), NYSE quotations added.
