Bail for Bhaskar in attack case

CHENNAI, SEPT. 19. One of the co-accused in the `Gopu Sridhar
attack case', Mr. `RBI' Bhaskar, was granted conditional bail by
the Principal Sessions Judge, Mr. S. Ashok Kumar, today. (Among
the other accused are Mr. V.N. Sudhagaran and his father Mr.
Vivekanandan.)
The judge gave Mr. Bhaskar to police custody for three days
beginning September 21, after which period he would be enlarged
on bail. During police interrogation, he can have two advocates
of his choice with him.
Mr. Bhaskar was asked to execute a personal bond for Rs. 10,000
and furnish two sureties for a like sum each. He should sign at
XVII Metropolitan Magistrate's court here daily at 10.30 a.m.
Mr. Bhaskar, after having remained at large for over 90 days,
surrendered before XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate's court at
Saidapet here on Monday.
