'Declare Lucknow disturbed area'
By Our Special Correspondent
LUCKNOW, SEPT. 26. The Samajwadi Party leader, Mr. Mulayam Singh
Yadav, today criticised the Uttar Pradesh Government for its
failure to maintain law and order in Lucknow.
``The situation in the Lok Sabha constituency of the Prime
Minister, Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee, has deteriorated to such an
extent that only special measures like declaring Lucknow a
disturbed area can improve the situation,'' Mr. Yadav told
newspersons at his party office here.
