Protest by Ministers
Sir, - I am concerned about by the reports that several Ministers
participated in the demonstrations in Chennai and Kancheepuram
against the verdict of the Supreme Court in the case relating to
Ms. Jayalalithaa's Chief Ministership. Are they not risking their
offices due to violation of oath the taken by them to uphold the
Constitution?
The Supreme Court is the highest institution for upholding the
Constitution. They are protesting against that. Should they not
know better? What would happen if some action is taken against
all of them which results in their demitting office?
P.S.Vaidyanathan,
Chennai
