CHOGM meet postponed

SINGAPORE, SEPT. 28. The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) has been postponed, the Australian Prime Minister, Mr. John Howard, announced today. The conference was to have been held in Brisbane from October 6 to 9.

Mr. Howard said that following the terrorist attacks in the U.S. many Commonwealth leaders had to review their travel plans and ``...that the world situation requires them to stay at home''.
