Rallying Ministers
Sir, - Some days ago we saw the ludicrous spectacle of the
Ministers of the newly-formed Tamil Nadu Cabinet leading a morcha
in Chennai to protest the Supreme Court verdict disqualifying Ms.
Jayalalithaa from continuing as Chief Minister. The Court should
take cognisance of this affront to the judiciary and sanctity of
the Constitution. Those persons should be hauled up on charges of
contempt of court because they are not ordinary people but
Ministers.
V. Venkatasubramanian,
Mumbai
