Wrong priorities

Sir, - Even after seeing the response of the U.S. to terrorist acts on its soil, we never learn. The news of bomb explosion in the New Delhi-Guwahati North East Express on September 25 has not received proper attention. Saudi Arabia derecognising the Taliban or Gen. Musharraf's comments that terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir is `freedom struggle' are headlines for us.

The Bodo terrorists who continuously perpetrate such terrorist acts are mildly referred to as militants. How many Bodo terrorists are eliminated by the Indian Army? They should be warned of dire consequences of their acts.

V.V.S. Sarma,
