Plane forcelands
NEW DELHI, OCT. 1. Forty passengers aboard a Bishkek-bound plane
of Kyrgyztan Airlines had a providential escape this evening when
it made an emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi international
airport here immediately after take-off following failure of one
of its engines, airport sources told PTI.
The plane, which took off at 4.04 p.m., developed a snag within
20 minutes. It kept hovering over Delhi to exhaust its fuel
before making a safe landing at 5.28 p.m.
