Prohibition on admission in Vizag college

HYDERABAD, OCT. 1. The Commissioner and Director of School
Education, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has warned the students not to
take admission in Emmanuel College of Education, Tamaram Village,
Makavarampalem, Vishakapatnam district, which has called for
applications for admission into B.Ed. course under Christian
Minority Status for the academic year 2001-2002.
In a statement here, he said the Government has not sanctioned
minority status to the college and the Andhra University had not
granted its affiliation so far. He said the admissions into this
college would be treated as invalid and the students would not be
allowed to take the examinations. The same had been informed to
the management of the college also, he said.
