Cauvery meet on Oct. 10

CHENNAI, OCT. 3. The Cauvery River Authority, chaired by the Prime Minister, Mr. A.B. Vajpayee, will meet on October 10 to discuss the quantum of water that Karnataka should release, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Mr. O. Panneerselvam, said today.

Talking to reporters at the Secretariat, he said he would attend the meeting in New Delhi. (The earlier meeting, scheduled on September 22, had been put off on account of the change of guard in Tamil Nadu.)
