D. N. Das, new MSE President

CHENNAI, OCT. 4. Mr. D. N. Das was elected president of the Madras Stock Exchange for 2001-02 at a meeting of the council of management of the exchange held here today.

The other office bearers are: Mr. Ravi Visvanathan (vice president); Mr. S. Venkateswaran (treasurer); Mr. A. Chandrasekaran, Mr. A. S. Ramakrishnan (council members); Mr. K. V. Rajagopal Rao, Mr. V. Srinivasa Rao, Ms. Girija Vaidyanathan (SEBI nominees); Justice G. Ramanujam (Retd.), Mr. S. Gopalan, Mr. M. S. Raghavan and Mr. G. Rangarajan (public representatives).
