HAVEN'T CAUGHT Khushboo as `Marumagal' yet on TV? STAR Vijay is bringing her to you. Watch out. STAR Vijay has got its floats all around the city, waiting to get hold of Marumagals and Maamiyars and introduce them to the STAR Vijay `Marumagal' who would visit homes at 9 p.m. on weeknights.

Even as anxious `Chitti' addicts await the new bride, STAR Vijay's honeymoon has already started.

What with a record number of hoardings and posters all up around the city and `float' promotions. For the record, Ogilvy Landscape put up 63 billboards and another 25 distributed across ``five upcountry markets of Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Erode and Salem'', Mr.Krishnan Menon, Consultant for Ogilvy, informs us.

STAR Vijay's `floats' were about everywhere during the first few days of its launch. Even at temples.

In what could be one of the firsts, the channel actually launched a promotion campaign at temples, distributing bindis and gifts, interacting with the potential target group of housewives.

The channel had its `floats' strategically positioned outside Murugan temple at Vadapalani, Kapaleeswarar temple, Mylapore, Ashtalakshmi temple at Besant Nagar, Periyapalayathamman temple, Adyar, Mundakanniamman temple, Mylapore.

Apart from having games and `kili josiyam' on board, the channel also gave away contest forms.

The `float' also did its rounds at Marina and Pondy Bazaar.

STAR Vijay now plans to take these activities to Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Trichy and Erode.
