Hockey player fatally hit
BANGALORE, OCT. 6. A teenaged hockey player, Kuldip Horo, a sepoy
of the Pioneer Corps Training Centre here, died after receiving a
fatal hit from a hockey stick in a goal mouth melee during a
practice match here.
Nineteen-year-old Horo, hailing from Ranchi, fell down after
apparently being hit by a hockey stick in a practice match
against Army Supply Corps, Jalanadhar, yesterday, the PCTC coach,
Mr. Williams Kanakaraj, told PTI. Horo, who had no external
injury, was rushed to Command Hospital, where he died, he said.
