Call to kill Blair
LONDON, OCT. 10. A London-based fundamentalist group, Al
Muhajiroun, has given a call to British Muslims to
``assassinate'' the Prime Minister, Mr. Tony Blair, to avenge the
bombing of Afghanistan.
Any Muslim, British or foreign, who ``wants to get rid of him
(Blair)'' would not be punished under Islamic law, but praised,
Mr. Abdul Rehman Saleem, a spokesman for the group was quoted by
the Times daily today.
