Mullah Omar's son killed?
QUETTA, OCT. 11. Two relatives of the Taliban leader, Mullah
Mohammad Omar, killed in a U.S. raid on his house were his 10-
year-old son and his stepfather, residents fleeing Kandahar said
today.
They said the Taliban leader had just left his home when a bomb
struck one of his houses in the Sangisar district, where many of
his family members were staying.
The Taliban's Ambassador to Pakistan, Mullah Abdul Salam Zaeef,
however, refused to confirm or deny the deaths. ``All Afghans are
his relatives,'' was his cryptic reply.
