4 militants killed
By Our Correspondent
JAMMU, OCT. 11. In an operation lasting 12 days in the border
district of Poonch four Pakistani militants were shot dead at
Gali Pindi.
Army sources said the militants were hiding inside a cave for the
past 12 days after five of their associates were killed. Jawans
initially pushed dummy commandos inside the cave to exhaust the
ammunition of the terrorists. Later, engineers blasted a portion
of the cave to pave way for the entry of commandos inside. The
bodies of the terrorists were recovered and two were identified
as that of Sadar Din and Mohd Qadir Mittar of Pakistan.
