Dumping yard
Sir, - I do not understand why most of us keep up a hopeful
litany that the West is on the brink of taking up cudgels against
terrorism. Mr. Tony Blair, during his fleeting visit to Delhi,
made it abundantly clear that India and Pakistani terrorism were
irrelevant to him. India remains a market for disposing Western
goods unfit for home consumption - and this includes terrorism.
S. Suchindranath Aiyer,
Bangalore
