U.S. still in danger, says Bush
WASHINGTON, OCT. 13. The United States ``is still in danger''
from the threat of terrorist attacks, the President, Mr. George
W. Bush, said as a new case of anthrax sent fresh jitters through
a nervous nation. He assured Americans that the Government was
doing everything in its power to make them safe.
His comments followed an FBI announcement on Thursday that there
may be more terrorist attacks in the U.S. and against the
country's interests overseas ``over the next several days''.
